                                Beliefs

We believe that no one is perfect, and cannot become perfect by themselves. There is a need for something more in our lives. There is a need to be saved, and there is only One who can save us. That One is Jesus Christ. It is because of the perfect life that He lived and His perfect gift that He gave that we are given a new life. This new life might not feel different and it might not look different to others at first, but it is a life that now has the forgiveness and promise of Jesus Christ. The promise that our imperfection is not held against us anymore. The promise that we are in a right relationship with God, our Father. The promise that we will have life forever after death.
We hold the Bible, God’s Holy Word, to contain these promises and the account of what God has done for His people from the beginning of time. We believe that the Bible is inerrant and was written by select people who to strengthen, comfort, and provide for our spiritual needs. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to lead a life pleasing to God the Father, have faith in God’s promises, and tell others about the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus will return one day, but that day is unknown to everyone. When he does return he promises to give eternal life to those who trust in His promises and have come to know Jesus as their savior.
